I just found this (via facebook update) and wanted to share it with you.
I am winding up week 6 of my exercise program and while I haven't lost any weight, I have lost an inch in my waist however-- so I guess that is a good thing. They are predicting weather in the mid-upper 50s this weekend, so I hope to take Daphne for a jog at the park after we visit Granite!
Rachel, I decided to stop by and visit. I love Granite, really a good looking horse and I wish you all the best. By the way, if you lost an inch you are doing well. Muscle weighs more than fat, so if you exercise and get smaller but the scale stays the same that is great progress. Plus muscle burns more calories so in the long run you will be fine. ReplyDeleteSandy, thanks for visiting. Granite is a special guy. He is a load of personality, really just a lot of fun to be around! Now I just can't wait to ride him! Thanks for the encouragement. Eventually I will incorporate a diet into the exercise regime, but until then, I know I am burning calories and clearly gaining strength which was my ultimate goal.
